Team Armored Roofing recently completed a flat roof replacement in beautiful Tarpon Springs, Florida. The project involved removing the existing worn-out roof down to the wood decking to address any underlying issues. We then installed a brand new, durable CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system, ensuring the home is protected from the elements for years to come.
Work Performed
The scope of work included a complete tear-off of the existing flat roof. After the tear-off, we carefully inspected and replaced any rotten wood decking, ensuring a solid foundation. The decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. A peel-and-stick base sheet was installed, followed by stripping around the perimeter for enhanced protection, new drip edge, and finally the CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system consisting of 8 squares of material.
