Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a low-pitch roof replacement in Largo, Florida. The existing roof was removed down to the wood decking, which required some repairs due to rot. We then installed a brand new, durable CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system, ensuring long-lasting protection for the home.
Work Performed
The project began with a complete tear-off of the existing roof. Any rotten wood was replaced, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. Next, a peel and stick base sheet was installed, followed by stripping around the perimeter for enhanced protection. Finally, a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system (38 squares) was professionally installed, including new drip edge and vents as needed.
