Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a comprehensive flat roof replacement project on Building 2 in Clearwater, Florida. The existing TPO roof, along with a layer of 1" ISO board, was removed down to the original tapered system. The project culminated in the installation of a brand new, durable GAF TPO roofing system for long-lasting protection.
Work Performed
This project involved a complete TPO roof replacement. The existing roof was removed, including a layer of insulation board. We then installed a new 1" ISO board over the existing taper, secured with 3" plates and screws every 16 inches. A new 60-mil GAF TPO roofing system was installed using metal plates and screws on all seams, heat-welded to create a seamless, waterproof barrier. Broken or damaged vinyl siding was replaced and secured. Eight sheets of plywood were needed and replaced due to wood rot.
