Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full tile roof replacement for a home in Clearwater, Florida. The existing roof was removed down to the wood decking, which required some repair due to rot. The homeowner selected a new tile design to enhance their home's curb appeal, and Team Armored delivered a beautiful and durable roofing solution.
Work Performed
The project began with removing the old roof and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails. We replaced 9 sheets of plywood including the 5 sheets included in the original quote. A Polyglass peel-and-stick underlayment with cloth finish was installed, along with new vents, drip edge, valley metal, ridge metal, and bird stop. The new tile roof was then installed using tile bond, a method our team is certified in. We also performed chimney repairs, including new flashing, plywood, stucco, and chimney caps.
