Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a flat roof replacement project on a series of garages in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The existing roofs had deteriorated, requiring a full replacement to ensure the integrity of the structures. This project involved removing the old roofing material, replacing damaged wood, and installing a brand new, durable flat roofing system. We used high-quality materials and expert techniques to deliver a long-lasting solution for these Tarpon Springs garages.
Work Performed
The scope of work included removing the existing roofing down to the wood deck. Any rotten wood was replaced to ensure a solid foundation. The existing deck was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet Florida building codes. A new black diamond base sheet was installed, followed by stripping around the perimeter to seal a new drip edge. Finally, a new modified torch down roofing system was installed throughout the roof, with a 1 sq shingle tie-in on each garage. Work was performed on garages 1601-1602, 1603-1604, and 1605-1606.
