Team Armored Roofing recently completed a TPO roof replacement for Building J in Clearwater, Florida. The original roof was removed down to the wood decking, which required some replacement due to rot and damage. The new roof guarantees superior protection against Florida's harsh weather conditions, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable roofing system for the building.
Work Performed
Our team began by removing the existing roof down to the wood decking and replacing any damaged or rotten wood. We re-nailed the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code. Then, we installed new tapered boards to provide proper drainage. Finally, we installed a new 60 mil GAF TPO rubber roofing system, heat welding all seams to create a single, solid unit, and installed new TPO vents and flashing.
