Team Armored Roofing recently completed a comprehensive roofing project in Clearwater, Florida, involving both shingle and flat roof replacements. The existing roofs were showing signs of wear and age, requiring a complete overhaul to ensure long-term protection for the home. We carefully removed the old roofing materials and installed new, high-quality systems to enhance the home's durability and curb appeal.
Work Performed
For the shingle roof, we removed the old shingles down to the wood deck, replaced any rotten wood, and re-nailed the decking to meet code. We then installed a peel-and-stick underlayment for enhanced waterproofing. New Timberline Lifetime GAF HDZ shingles were installed, along with upgraded Omni roll cobra ridge vents and new valley metal. The flat roof replacement involved removing the existing roof down to the wood deck, replacing any damaged wood, installing a peel-and-stick base sheet, and finishing with a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system. New 6" seamless gutters and downspouts were also installed.
