Team Armored Roofing recently completed a flat roof replacement project in Clearwater, Florida. The existing roof was removed down to the wood deck, revealing some rotten wood that needed replacing. We then installed a brand new, durable roofing system, ensuring long-lasting protection for the home.
Work Performed
The scope of work included removing the old roof, replacing compromised wood, and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. We then installed a peel and stick base sheet for optimal adhesion, followed by stripping around the perimeter for added protection. A new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system was installed, along with new drip edge, vents, and lead pipe covers as needed.
