Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full TPO roof replacement on building #26 in Clearwater, Florida. The project involved removing an existing tar and gravel roof with underlying foam board down to the plywood decking. The new roof provides enhanced protection and energy efficiency for the building while adding value to the commercial property. Work Performed
The scope of work included removing all loose gravel and the old tar and gravel roofing system. Rotten wood was replaced, and the plywood decking was re-nailed. We installed 2" of insulation board followed by 1/4" tapered ISO board, securing them with plates and screws. A new GAF EverGuard TPO 60mil roofing system was then installed, glued to the ISO board, mechanically fastened at the seams every 6", and heat-welded to create a seamless waterproof membrane. New TPO vents and custom drip edges were also installed.
