Team Armored Roofing recently completed a TPO roof over project in beautiful Venice, Florida. This project involved installing a new roofing system directly over the existing one, providing enhanced protection and energy efficiency. Work Performed
For this Venice TPO roof over, our team began by installing a 2" foam board over the existing roof decking, using a combination of adhesive and/or plates and screws for secure attachment. Next, we installed the new GAF EverGuard TPO 60mil rubber roofing system, carefully securing it with proper metal plates and screws per code. The TPO was then heat-welded together at the seams, creating a single, unified roofing system with a tightly fastened perimeter using term bar and screws with rubber washers to prevent leaks.
