Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a TPO roof over project in beautiful Venice, Florida. The existing roof received a complete upgrade with a durable and energy-efficient TPO system. This project demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality roofing solutions tailored to the unique needs of Venice homeowners. The customer also needed a new downspout on the west side of their home and we were happy to take care of that for them.
Work Performed
This TPO roof over project involved several key steps. First, we installed 1-2" of foam board insulation over the existing roof decking using adhesive and metal plates with screws. Next, we installed a new 60mil TPO rubber roofing system, securing it with proper metal plates and screws, adhering to all local building codes. Finally, we heat-welded the TPO seams to form a unified, watertight roofing system and secured the perimeter with a turn bar and screws featuring rubber washers for a tight, secure fastening. We also replaced the missing downspout on the west side, completing the project to the homeowner's satisfaction. As with all full roof replacements, a 10-year labor and material warranty from Armored Roofing is included.
