Team Armored Roofing recently completed a TPO roof over project in Venice, Florida. This project involved installing a brand-new, energy-efficient roofing system over an existing flat roof. Our client in Venice now benefits from a durable and reliable roofing solution designed to withstand the Florida elements. Work Performed
The scope of work included installing 1-2" of foam board insulation directly over the existing roof decking, secured with adhesive and metal plates with screws. We then installed a new 60mil TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) rubber roofing system. The TPO membrane was secured with metal plates and screws, ensuring adherence to local building codes. Seams were meticulously heat-welded together to create a single, unified, and waterproof roofing surface. The perimeter was finished with a term bar and screws equipped with rubber washers for a secure and watertight seal.
