Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a tile roof repair project in Tarpon Springs, Florida, addressing two separate leak issues. The existing tile roof had leaks originating around a power box and an upper bracket. Our skilled team carefully removed and reinstalled tiles to properly seal these vulnerable areas, ensuring long-lasting protection for the homeowner.
Work Performed
The first repair focused on the power box, involving removing the surrounding tiles, concrete, and flashing tape. We meticulously cleaned the box, sealed underneath it, and applied torch-applied modified bitumen strips, melting them into the existing modified underlayment with sealant. The tiles were then reinstalled with proper childhood, smoothed for a clean aesthetic. The second leak near the upper bracket was addressed by cleaning the area, applying heated modified liquid to seal potential penetrations, and adding torch-applied modified bitumen for extra protection before replacing the tiles.
