This project involved removing the existing worn shingle roof and replacing it with a new, high-performance shingle system. Work Performed
Our crew started by carefully removing the old shingles down to the wood decking. Any rotted wood was replaced, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. New peel-and-stick underlayment was installed across the entire roof surface to maximize protection and secure insurance discounts for the homeowner. We completed the project with new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing at all tie-in points, new valley metal, and Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles, along with upgraded cobra ridge vents to properly ventilate the attic.
