The project involved removing the existing roof, addressing any underlying wood damage, and installing new, high-quality roofing materials. Work Performed
This project included a full shingle roof replacement, starting with the removal of the old shingles down to the wood deck. Rotten wood was replaced, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails for code compliance. We installed a peel-and-stick underlayment for enhanced protection and potential insurance discounts, new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal. GAF HDZ Timberline lifetime high wind rated shingles were installed along with upgraded Cobra ridge vents for optimal attic ventilation. A CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system was installed for the flat roof section. Finally, new 6" seamless gutters with 5" downspouts were installed.
