The project involved a complete tear-off of the old roofing system down to the wood deck, followed by necessary repairs. Work Performed
The scope of work included removing the existing shingles and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. We installed a new peel and stick underlayment to provide enhanced protection and qualify for insurance discounts. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed, topped with Timberline GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles. An upgraded Omni ridge vent was also installed to improve attic ventilation.
