The existing roof was removed down to the wood deck, and any rotten wood was replaced to ensure a solid foundation. A new, durable CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system was installed, providing long-lasting protection from the elements. Work Performed
The flat roof replacement involved a comprehensive process. First, the old roof was carefully removed, and the wood decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. Next, a peel and stick base sheet underlayment was installed, followed by stripping around the perimeter for enhanced protection. Finally, a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system was installed, extending two feet under existing tile (with careful tile detachment and resetting).
