Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a comprehensive roof replacement project in Safety Harbor, Florida. This project involved replacing both a shingle roof and a small flat roof section. The existing roofs were removed, necessary repairs were made to the wood decking, and new, high-quality roofing systems were installed to provide long-lasting protection against the Florida elements.
Work Performed
The shingle roof replacement included removing the old shingles, replacing five sheets of rotten plywood, re-nailing the decking, and installing peel and stick underlayment for superior waterproofing. We installed new Timberline Lifetime GAF HDZ shingles with upgraded Omni roll Cobra ridge vents for proper attic ventilation. All boots and vents were replaced and step sealed for added protection. For the flat roof, we removed the existing material, replaced any damaged wood, installed a peel and stick base sheet with perimeter stripping, and completed the installation with a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system.
