Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full shingle roof replacement for a home in Clearwater, Florida. The existing roof was removed down to the wood decking. We replaced any rotten wood, ensuring a solid foundation before installing new, high-quality roofing materials. The homeowner now has a beautiful and durable new roof protecting their home.
Work Performed
The project included removing the old shingles and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. We installed peel and stick underlayment throughout the roof for superior protection and potential insurance discounts. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed, followed by Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles. Upgraded cobra ridge vents were added to improve attic ventilation. We also step sealed all roof penetrations.
