Work Performed
The shingle repair involved a detailed process, beginning with the removal of nine solar brackets in the affected area. We then removed the existing shingles down to the wood decking, replacing any damaged plywood. New peel-and-stick underlayment was installed to create a waterproof barrier, followed by new shingles that matched the pre-existing style of the home. Finally, we applied roof cement to seal the new shingles to the old, guaranteeing a watertight seal. The work included approximately one square of slate.
