Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full flat roof replacement project in Pinellas Park, Florida. The existing low-slope roof was removed down to the wood decking, and repairs were made to any areas of rotten or damaged wood. A new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system was installed to provide long-lasting protection.
Work Performed
Our team meticulously removed the existing roof, ensuring all debris was cleared before proceeding. We re-nailed the decking with 8D ring shank nails to bring it up to current code standards. A peel-and-stick base sheet was then installed, followed by stripping around the perimeter for enhanced protection against water intrusion. New drip edge and vents were also installed, and the entire roof was completed with a CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system over approximately 18 squares.
