Team Armored Roofing recently completed a TPO roofing project in Palm Harbor, Florida, providing a durable and energy-efficient solution for a flat roof. The original modified roofing material on a metal roof needed to be removed to make way for the new system. We installed a GAF EverGuard TPO system known for its superior performance and longevity.
Work Performed
Our team began by removing the existing modified material. Then, we installed 2-inch foam board insulation over the roof decking, securing it with both adhesive and metal plates with screws, ensuring proper attachment. Following this, we expertly installed the GAF EverGuard TPO 60mil rubber roofing system, fastening it with appropriate metal plates and screws according to code requirements. Finally, the TPO seams were heat-welded together to create a unified, watertight roofing system, and the perimeter was secured with a term bar and screws with rubber washers for a tight, leak-proof seal.

"We are very disappointed with this company. They rescheduled to come to my house 4 times and each time they failed to call me that they weren’t going to make it. I had to reach out to them asking where they were. I have two babies at home so this really upset me having to wait and no one showed up. They did the job of repairing a leak but I would not recommend. The lady also told us she would talk to the boss to see if she could give us a discount because of the rescheduling and she made an excuse saying they already gave us a discount which was not true."
