This project involved a complete tear-off of the existing roof down to the wood decking, followed by necessary repairs to any rotten wood. Work Performed
The project began with removing the old roofing material and re-nailing the wood deck with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. We then installed a peel and stick base sheet for superior waterproofing. For the flat roof, we installed a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system, including new drip edge, vents, and lead pipe covers where needed. As part of the project, we also tied into an existing tile roof, installing new Polyglass peel and stick underlayment and ensuring proper flashing at the tie-in points.
