Team Armored Roofing recently completed a comprehensive roof replacement project in New Port Richey, Florida, addressing both shingle and flat roofing sections. The project involved a complete tear-off of the existing roofs, replacement of damaged wood, and installation of new, high-performance roofing systems. The goal was to provide the homeowner with a durable, long-lasting roof that meets the highest standards of quality and protection.
Work Performed
Our team began by removing the existing shingle roof down to the wood deck, replacing 116 feet of 1x12 decking. After re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code, we installed a peel and stick underlayment. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed, topped with Timberline GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles. The flat roof section received a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system. Additional work included fascia and soffit replacement, rebuilding front boxes, and interior drywall repair.
