Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full roof replacement project in New Port Richey, Florida. The existing shingle roof was showing its age and required a complete overhaul. Our team meticulously removed the old shingles, addressed any underlying wood damage, and installed a brand new, high-performance roofing system to protect the home for years to come. Work Performed
The project began with a complete tear-off of the existing shingles, down to the wood decking. Any rotten wood was replaced with new plywood, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. We then installed peel and stick underlayment in the valleys, followed by synthetic underlayment across the entire roof surface. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed. The project concluded with Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles and upgraded cobra ridge vents to improve attic ventilation.
