The project included a full tear-off, wood replacement, and the installation of a new, high-quality shingle system.
Work Performed
The scope of work began with removing the old shingles down to the wood deck. Any rotten wood was replaced and re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails. We then installed new peel and stick underlayment throughout the roof for enhanced protection and potential insurance discounts. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were all installed. Finally, Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles were installed, complete with upgraded cobra ridge vents and additional venting for proper attic ventilation.
