Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full shingle roof replacement in Venice, Florida. The project involved removing the old, worn shingles and installing a brand-new, durable roof system. We replaced some areas of rotted wood decking and ensured the new roof met all current building codes. The homeowner now has a beautiful and secure roof protecting their home.
Work Performed
Our team started by removing the existing shingles down to the wood deck, replacing up to five sheets of plywood. We then re-nailed the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet code and installed a peel-and-stick underlayment. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed. Finally, we installed Timberline HDZ high wind rated shingles, new upgraded cobra ridge vents, and stepped sealed all penetrations in the roof and walls.
