Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full aluminum pitch pan roof replacement project in beautiful Venice, Florida. The project involved removing an aging roof structure and installing a completely new, code-compliant aluminum system to ensure the homeowner's protection for years to come. This Venice home now boasts a durable, weather-resistant roof thanks to our expert installation.
Work Performed
Our crew started by carefully removing the old pitch pan roofing material and demolishing debris from the old carport. We then prepped the area for the new installation. This included installing upgraded 3" x 3" posts anchored into the existing concrete slab with new brackets, as well as new 2'x6' aluminum headers and framework. We installed new aluminum cross beams for support, 4ft insulation panels and secured 3" pan panels (12' wide) with proper fasteners and sealant. To complete the project, we flashed into the existing roof where needed, installed a new gutter system with downspouts, and added additional 3"x3" aluminum support beams to structurally separate the unit from the roof, adhering to current Florida building codes. Drawings and permits were included in this replacement project.
