The project involved removing the existing worn shingle roof and installing a brand-new, durable roofing system. This included addressing any underlying wood damage and ensuring proper attic ventilation for long-term roof health. Work Performed
Our skilled roofing team started by carefully removing the old shingles down to the wood deck. Any rotten wood was replaced, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. We then installed peel and stick in the valleys, followed by synthetic underlayment across the entire roof. New lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal were installed before finishing with the new lifetime dimensional shingles and upgraded Omni Ridge vents. We also meticulously sealed all penetrations for added protection.
