The existing aluminum soffit was carefully removed to allow for the proper attachment of the clips to the rafters. Damaged soffit pieces were identified and replaced to ensure a seamless and structurally sound final result.
Work Performed
Team Armored Roofing installed approximately 64 hurricane clips along 128 linear feet of eaves, ensuring proper spacing with rafters 24 inches on center. Each new clip was secured with three nails on the top and three nails on the bottom to meet insurance discount requirements. The aluminum soffit was carefully removed and replaced, with any damaged sections of soffit being replaced.
