Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a comprehensive gutter installation project in St. Petersburg, Florida. This project involved the installation of a completely new gutter system, rerouting existing gutters for optimal performance, and installing leaf guards to prevent debris accumulation. The goal was to improve water management and protect the home from potential water damage caused by Florida's heavy rainfall.
Work Performed
The scope of work included the installation of approximately 168 linear feet of new 6" black seamless gutters, complemented by 84 linear feet of new 5" downspouts as needed. A new black gutter system was installed on the south wall (southeast part) of the flat roof system, which required cutting out stucco and properly sealing the penetration to ensure a watertight seal. Additionally, an existing gutter pouring water directly onto the shingles was rerouted, along with another existing gutter with a scupper which was rerouted to the gutter system on the southwest part of the shingle roof system. Leaf guards were installed in specific areas to prevent debris from clogging the gutters, secured with appropriate fasteners.
