Team Armored Roofing completed a comprehensive project in St. Petersburg, Florida, focusing on both gutter and chimney maintenance. The project addressed aging gutters and potential chimney leaks to ensure the home's long-term protection from water damage. The installation of new seamless gutters and the repair of the chimney flashing ensures optimal water runoff and protection from the elements, safeguarding the structure of the house.
Work Performed
The scope of work included the installation of new 6" seamless gutters, complete with new 5" downspouts where needed for optimal water drainage. Specifically, 35 linear feet of gutters were installed with a 15 linear foot downspout, and another 15 linear feet of gutters were added with an additional 15 linear foot downspout. To prevent clogging, 45 linear feet of leaf guards were installed. The project also included repairing the brick chimney by removing the ridge cap, removing and replacing the old flashing with a custom bent lip and sealing it with 4300 sealer, and then reinstalling the ridge cap on the metal roof.
