Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full roof replacement in Port Richey, Florida, addressing both the shingle and flat roof sections of the home. The project involved removing the existing roofing materials down to the wood deck, followed by necessary repairs and the installation of new, high-quality roofing systems. This ensured a long-lasting and weather-resistant roof for the homeowner. The project included both shingle roofing and torch down applications.
Work Performed
The scope of work included a complete shingle roof replacement involving the removal of old shingles, wood deck re-nailing with 8D ring shank nails to meet current codes, and the installation of peel and stick underlayment for enhanced protection. We installed new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal. New Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles were installed. For the flat roof section, we removed the existing material and installed a peel and stick base sheet, stripping, and a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system.
