The existing roof was removed down to the decking, and any damaged wood was replaced before installing new roofing materials. This project ensures the homeowner has a long-lasting and durable roof over their head, ready to withstand the Florida weather.
Work Performed
The shingle roof portion involved removing the existing shingles, re-nailing the decking, and installing peel and stick underlayment throughout for enhanced protection. We installed new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal, then finished with Timberline HDZ high wind rated shingles and upgraded cobra ridge vents. The flat roof replacement included removing the existing roof, replacing damaged wood, installing a peel and stick base sheet, and completing the project with a new CertainTeed modified torch down roofing system. The home also benefited from our standard practice of cleaning gutters and removing debris with magnets.
