Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full tile roof replacement in Port Charlotte, Florida. The project involved removing the existing worn roof and installing a brand new tile roof system, enhancing the home's curb appeal and protection. This comprehensive project ensures long-lasting durability and protection against the elements specific to the Port Charlotte climate.
Work Performed
The scope of work included tearing off the existing roof down to the wood decking. Any damaged or rotten wood was replaced before re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. We then installed new Polyglass peel and stick underlayment with a cloth finish, along with new vents, drip edge, valley metal, flashing, ridge metal, and bird stop. The new tile roof was installed using tile bond, a method our team is certified in.
Why Choose Tile Roofing
Tile roofing is an excellent choice for Florida homes due to its durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, including hurricanes.
