Project Overview
Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full tile roof replacement for a home in Port Charlotte, Florida. The original roof was removed entirely to the wood decking. Our team carefully replaced any damaged or rotten wood before proceeding with the new installation. The customer chose a beautiful new tile design that will protect their home and enhance its curb appeal.
Work Performed
Our team meticulously executed the tile roof replacement. This included removing the existing roof and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. We installed a new Polyglass peel and stick underlayment with a cloth finish. Finally, the new tile roof was installed using tile bond on the 6/12 pitch roof, along with new low profile tile attic vents, drip edge, valley metal, and flashing at all tie-in points.
