Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full roof replacement in Orlando, Florida, transforming an aging roof into a durable and beautiful new structure. The existing roof was showing its age, and the homeowner sought a reliable, long-lasting solution. We provided a comprehensive replacement, ensuring enhanced protection against the elements and boosting the home's curb appeal in the Orlando area.
Work Performed
The project involved a complete shingle roof replacement, starting with the removal of the old shingles down to the wood deck. We replaced 5 sheets of rotten plywood and re-nailed the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. A new peel and stick underlayment was installed across the entire roof surface, followed by new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, and flashing. We installed approximately 28 squares of Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles and 2 squares of upgraded Omni ridge vents, and step sealed all penetrations for added protection.
