Team Armored Roofing recently completed a full roof replacement project in Odessa, Florida. The project involved removing an existing roof system, addressing damaged wood, and installing a brand new, durable shingle roof. This comprehensive project ensures the homeowner has a long-lasting and weather-resistant roof over their head, providing peace of mind for years to come.
Work Performed
The project began with a complete removal of the existing shingles, down to the wood decking. Any rotten wood discovered was replaced using both 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch plywood as needed. New peel and stick underlayment was installed across the entire roof surface, followed by new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, flashing, and valley metal. Finally, new Timberline lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles were installed, along with upgraded cobra ridge vents and additional ventilation to properly vent the attic space. All penetrations were meticulously step sealed for added protection.
