Work Performed
Our team began by removing the existing roof down to the wood decking. Any damaged or rotten wood was replaced with new plywood, with up to 5 sheets included as part of our replacement package. The decking was then re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current Florida building codes. A high-temperature peel-and-stick underlayment specifically designed for metal roofs was installed, followed by new drip edge, valley metal, pipe covers, vents, and all necessary components for a complete and weather-tight system before the standing seam metal roofing was installed across the 29 square roof.
