This project in Palm Harbor, Florida, involved addressing both shingle roof damage and the installation of a new gutter system. The existing roof suffered from damaged shingles and a compromised gutter, leading to potential water damage. Team Armored Roofing provided a comprehensive solution, restoring the roof's integrity and ensuring proper water drainage with a new, efficient gutter system. Work Performed
Our team began by carefully removing the damaged gutter and shingles along the back eve, extending up to the second story wall. We then installed new peel-and-stick underlayment for enhanced protection against water intrusion. New wall flashing was securely screwed down with cement underneath, followed by the installation of a new drip edge and matching shingles to seamlessly blend with the existing roof. A new, approximately 90ft gutter was installed along the back of the house along with leaf guards and a screen on the GRV vent, securing it with proper fasteners. Broken drip edge trim was replaced as well.
