Work Performed
The project began with a complete removal of the existing shingles down to the wood decking. Any rotten wood was replaced, and the decking was re-nailed with 8D ring shank nails to meet current code requirements. We then installed peel and stick underlayment as a waterproof barrier, followed by new lead pipe boot covers, galvalume vents, drip edge, and valley metal. The homeowner selected Timberline Lifetime GAF HDZ high wind rated shingles, and we completed the project with upgraded omni roll cobra ridge vents and step sealing of all roof penetrations, ensuring a durable and watertight roof system.
