The project involved a full flat roof replacement, alongside necessary wood repairs and the installation of a new gutter system to improve water runoff. Work Performed
Our work began with removing the existing flat roof down to the wood deck, followed by replacing any rotten wood and re-nailing the decking with 8D ring shank nails to meet current building codes. A peel-and-stick base sheet was installed for superior waterproofing, along with stripping around the perimeter for added protection. Finally, we installed a new CertainTeed modified torch-down roofing system, ensuring a durable and long-lasting solution. We also addressed shingle issues by replacing missing tabs and repaired the fascia board up front over the door and around the flat roof. A new gutter was installed on the front of the roof to manage water runoff effectively.
