Team Armored Roofing completed a solar bracket repair project in Tampa, Florida. The project involved addressing damage around a solar panel bracket on the rear of the home. Our team carefully removed the existing damaged materials and installed new components to restore the integrity of the roof and prevent future leaks.
Work Performed
This roof repair required close coordination with Titan Solar who temporarily removed the solar panels. We carefully removed the shingles around the top left solar bracket near the roof's hip, extending down to the wood decking. Any rotted wood decking was replaced with new plywood (1 sheet). We then applied new peel-and-stick underlayment and installed new shingles to match the home's existing roofing. Finally, all shingles were sealed with certified roofing cement.
