Our team conducted a thorough inspection and implemented a comprehensive repair plan, focusing on the area around the existing pipe boot, ridge vents, and areas with shingle damage.
Work Performed
This roof repair project involved several key steps. First, we removed the deteriorated 2-inch lead boot and replaced it with a new one after inspecting for and replacing one sheet of rotten plywood decking. New peel-and-stick underlayment was installed under new birchwood shingles to match the home's existing roof. The team also removed a 10-foot section of aluminum ridge vent, sealed the old fastener holes, and installed a new aluminum ridge vent. Finally, storm-damaged hip and ridge cap shingles were replaced on the back peak of the home, and one piece of damaged wood trim on the cupola over the garage was replaced with new trim and sealed.
